The post on the wiki about armor is pure garbage. AFIAK, golem is a straight-up 4 AL per level. Of course, you could always test it by spwaning one of those monsters and then leaving some poor ele teammate to deal with it.

34 * 4 = 136. It would probably be tough to tell the difference between 132 and 136 AL.

Too be fair though, the damage reduction from 4ish armour is very difficult to distinguish

A 16 FM fireball should hit 34 against 132 AL and 32 against 136 AL.
A 16 AM lightning orb should hit 54 against 132 AL and 51 against 136 AL.
A 16 EM stoning should hit for 31 against 132 AL and 29 against 136 AL.
A 16 WM vapor blade should hit for 41 against 132 AL and 38 against 136 AL.
That should be enough to set up a test.

Heh, it's funny, I just did something like this last night to see how big one i could make. Unfortunately I lacked many consumables so I had 2 less dm than yours. Still was very pleased with my lvl 31 fleshy though.

Edit: Just had a thought, most endgame bossess and such are lvl 30-31. Creatures don't really make it past that level wise, so...does that make Carinae's lvl 34 the highest lvl creature ingame?

Remember - golems have no skills. It'd be like a player character getting a sword that did 11-55 damage but no other skills - he'd hit harder, but not be anything special

Not a sword, more like a melee hornbow while suffering from 50% slower attack speed.
You get a really great crit chance though.

you can't get that high without consumables. You can get a lvl 31 if you have the Necro of Grenth blessing from a rez shrine and somehow manage to get both a +1 wand and a +1 offhand, I'm not entirely convinced that second part is possible though.

more likely you'll only be able to get a lvl 29.

still if you've got cash to spend always stop by the Grenth shrines

I bet it doesn't put a number. Because as soon as an Am Fah or Jade Brotherhood see that the say. "Screw the Jade Brotherhood, I'm with the dude with the Highest Level monster in game." Abaddon will say, "I'll pay you 100k if you let me live." The great destroyer will say "If you can't bet it, join it."

Once you go to alliance battle they will say. "!@#$, why is Glint here fighting 'with' the Lich?!!" The Base Defender will go up to the Flesh Golem and kill it in one hit. Then everyone will join the Base Defenders and live happily ever after!

Edit: Until Luxons/Kurzicks can't decide who's base defender is stronger, end up in an argument. Then a fight, a never ending fight in GW. Oh... Wait?! That's already happening. This explains the political part of the war between Lux/Kurz that GW never explained. I am so smart ^^
